Sometimes a rescue plan comes together seamlessly this was the case for Chief. Chief was a sweet bloodhound mix who ended up as a stray in Colonial Heights, VA. Rescue AMMAR had a foster to adopt ready near Harrisburg, PA – Chief just needed a lift. @houndpilot was on a weekend getaway in North Carolina and realized picking Chief up would be easy and would save him a five hour car ride. Animal control at the shelter agreed to meet us on a Sunday, the weather cooperated, and the foster family anxious to meet this big boy. Chief started the day at a shelter and ended up playing with his new hound family in PA. Happy tails sweet boy!!
